The Institute is venturing into a new field - the World of Pharmaceuticals - in the coming year. This unique GMP compliant Veterinary Drug Production facility under the State Government Ownership will be the first of its kind in our country. Initially the institute will be taking up production of Oral Anthelminthics, Piperazene and Albendazole Suspensions. The technical expertise of the Pharmacy College, Thiruvananthapuram is utilized for the large scale production of Veterinary Medicines from this Unit.
